Investigating. Intervening. Holding Israel Accountable.

The Coalition of Lawyers for Palestine – Switzerland is an independent alliance that employs legal direct action to challenge Israeli impunity and confront Switzerland's and Europe’s complicity in international crimes. Through strategic litigation, we aim to hold states, institutions, universities, foundations, arms manufacturers, and corporate actors accountable for their roles in human rights violations.

Our coalition is composed of lawyers, activists, and legal researchers committed to advancing justice through both international and domestic legal frameworks. We are inspired by the millions worldwide who have mobilized to denounce the ongoing genocide in Gaza and to demand real, enforceable accountability for corporate and state complicity in settler colonialism and related crimes.

We understand that Israeli crimes, the global arms trade, and capitalist exploitation are interconnected and transnational. As such, we view our legal strategies through an intersectional and international lens, recognizing that accountability must transcend borders and sectors.

Our interventions draw on the findings of the International Court of Justice (ICJ) and reports by UN Special Rapporteur Francesca Albanese, laying the groundwork for direct legal actions against those complicit in genocide and apartheid in Palestine. Our goal is to pursue justice for victims of genocide, crimes against humanity, war crimes, and other egregious violations.

We operate across jurisdictions and collaborate with local and international partners to pursue not only legal accountability, but also to expose and confront the political forces behind these crimes. Our mission is rooted in the belief that the law, strategically used, is a vital tool in resisting impunity and advancing justice, accountability, and political Palestinian rights for Palestine. We follow the demands of the BDS movements and work toward dismantling Israeli settler colonialism and apartheid, and restoring legal rights for the indigenous Palestinian people.
