Investigating. Intervening. Holding Israel Accountable.
The Coalition of Lawyers for Palestine - Switzerland is an association that employs legal direct action to challenge Israeli impunity, as well as Switzerland’s and Europe’s complicity in international crimes.
The association is composed of lawyers and researchers who apply international and national law to advocate for justice. We draw inspiration from the millions of people worldwide who have mobilized to condemn the ongoing onslaught in Gaza and demand tangible accountability and justice.
Our work aims to make direct interventions by using the tool of the law. We build on the findings of the International Court of Justice (ICJ) and UN Special Rapporteur Francesca Albanese which provides the grounds for organized legal direct actions against entities complicit in genocide and apartheid in Palestine and pave the way for seeking justice for victims of genocide, crimes against humanity, war crimes, and other crimes. We believe that legal action can be taken at different levels in order to lessen Israel’s impunity and seek justice for Palestine.
